Scampers Donate Food, Coats, Beds & More To Ukraine

With the situation in Ukraine ongoing, it’s been touching to see communities come together to offer support. Recently our Scampers store carpark was turned into a pickup location for donations and essential supplies.

The store team came in on the day bright and early, including the lovely Jackie who was supposed to be on a day off! They then quickly got together a pallet brimming with £1,000 worth of pet food, coats, beds and more to send off on the lorry.

Soon, residents from in and around Soham were turning up looking to generously donate tents, clothes, sleeping bags and even medicines to the people of Ukraine. The warehouse in store has never been so full, a testament to the generosity of everyone involved.

Everyone worked exceptionally hard at getting the lorry packed with these donations and supplies. The whole community truly came together, and the day was described by manager Chris as a “heart-warming and humbling experience”.

We are extremely proud of how quickly our Scampers store team jumped into action to donate food, pet products, and help organise the other donations. It also happened to be one of the team member's first day working in the store. What a truly unique and heart-warming day to join the company.
